We offer a variety of adult Yoga and fitness programs.  Yoga classes being offered this spring are:


  • Slow Flow Yoga - offered in person and with Zoom

  • Hatha Yoga with Sound Healing - offered in person

  • Fundamentals of Yoga - offered in person and with Zoom

  • Guided Imagery and Sound Meditation - offered in person


Gentle Yoga
  • Gentle Yoga offers all the benefits of yoga, but slower, with more focus on stretching and breathing. You will develop body awareness, learn basic postures and proper alignment. You will learn a calming and relaxing practice focused on your breath.
  • Recommended for those who are less flexible or who just like to take it more slowly. Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
  • IN PERSON CLASS: Will be held in room 4 at Community Center. Bring your own exercise mat and face mask must be worn. Max is 6 participants.
  • HOME WITH ZOOM CLASS: Need an exercise mat. Zoom link will be in receipt received upon registration.
  • Class meets on Tuesday from 6:30-7:30pm

Slow Flow Yoga
  • Slow Flow Yoga is based on the Vinyasa Yoga style which links movements with breath so you feel both relaxed and energized. Students will work on balance, joint flexibility and building core strength. Although it will improve physical and mental health, this class is not considered therapeutic and is most suitable for those with prior yoga training. Wear loose, comfortable clothes.
  • IN PERSON CLASS: Will be offered in room 4 at Community Center. Bring own exercise mat and face mask must be worn. Max is 6 participants.
  • HOME WITH ZOOM CLASS: Need exercise mat. Zoom link will be in receipt received upon registration.

Fundamentals of Yoga
  • Relieve stress and improve overall health and balance by learning the fundamentals of Yoga. Enjoy learning the basics of proper alignment and how to link your movements with your breath. Build a foundation for a personal yoga practice in this class.
  • Participants should be in overall good health since practice can be vigorous. Wear loose, comfortable clothes.

Hatha Yoga with Sound Healing
  • Hatha is the style of yoga that forms the basis for most other styles. In this class, participants will combine physical postures (asanas), controlled breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation. The class is accompanied by the live sounds of of a Chau Gong, Bar Chimes, and a pure quartz Crystal Bowl. The vibrations produced by the sounds of these instruments have been known to help clear blockages in your chakras, which assists in the proper flow of energy. It is advisable to dress comfortably and to not eat/eat minimally for the two hours prior to class. This is a slower paced practice with static posture holds (no flow) and is suitable for anyone who is new to yoga or would like to deepen their existing practice.
  • Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat

Yoga in the Park
  • Yoga in the Park is a Hatha style yoga class for adults in good health who want the joy of movement outside with a group. Class will focus on fun, flow-style movements, but will also provide some foundational yoga instruction.
  • A moderate yoga challenge that benefits the joints, posture and overall physical and mental health.
  • Bring water, a yoga mat and wear loose comfortable clothing.
  • Class will be cancelled due to inclement weather.
  • Takes place at the Amphitheater at Elm Ridge Park, all the way at the back of the park
  • Instructors: Virginia and Samantha teaching yoga; Doug on the instruments
