Hatha Yoga with Sound Healing
- Hatha is the style of yoga that forms the basis for most other styles. In this class, participants will combine physical postures (asanas), controlled breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation. The class is accompanied by the live sounds of of a Chau Gong, Bar Chimes, and a pure quartz Crystal Bowl. The vibrations produced by the sounds of these instruments have been known to help clear blockages in your chakras, which assists in the proper flow of energy. It is advisable to dress comfortably and to not eat/eat minimally for the two hours prior to class. This is a slower paced practice with static posture holds (no flow) and is suitable for anyone who is new to yoga or would like to deepen their existing practice.
