We offer a variety of adult Yoga and fitness programs.  Yoga classes being offered this winter are:

OM at Home Yoga
  • This online class will focus on the Hatha style of yoga to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the comfort of your home.
  • Participants can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition and ease of movement in this practice which combines standing postures, twists, backbends, forward folds and hip openers. Class will conclude with a relaxing restorative pose to promote balance and relaxation.
  • Wear comfortable clothing and need a yoga mat
  • Class will take place at home using Zoom. Zoom link will be emailed out before the first class.
  • Class meets on Monday, Sept. 14-Oct. 26 (no class 10/12) and Nov. 2-Dec. 7 from 6:00-7:00pm; $35 for 6 classes

Gentle Yoga
  • Gentle Yoga offers all the benefits of yoga, but slower, with more focus on stretching and breathing. You will develop body awareness, learn basic postures and proper alignment. You will learn a calming and relaxing practice focused on your breath.
  • Recommended for those who are less flexible or who just like to take it more slowly. Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
  • IN PERSON CLASS: Will be held in room 4 at Community Center. Bring your own exercise mat and face mask must be worn. Max is 6 participants.
  • HOME WITH ZOOM CLASS: Need an exercise mat. Zoom link will be emailed out before the first class
  • Class meets on Tuesday from 6:30-7:30pm

Slow Flow Yoga
  • Slow Flow Yoga is based on the Vinyasa Yoga style which links movements with breath so you feel both relaxed and energized. Students will work on balance, joint flexibility and building core strength. Although it will improve physical and mental health, this class is not considered therapeutic and is most suitable for those with prior yoga training. Wear loose, comfortable clothes.
  • IN PERSON CLASS: Will be offered in room 4 at Community Center. Bring own exercise mat and face mask must be worn. Max is 6 participants.
  • HOME WITH ZOOM CLASS: Need exercise mat. Zoom link will be emailed out before first class

Fundamentals of Yoga
  • Relieve stress and improve overall health and balance by learning the fundamentals of Yoga. Enjoy learning the basics of proper alignment and how to link your movements with your breath. Build a foundation for a personal yoga practice in this class.

Relax and Renew
  • Try out this BRAND NEW class with Yoga Instructor Virginia Hilton!
  • In this class, we are going to breathe deeply, release stress and tension, and restore our bodies and minds to a more peaceful, relaxed state.
  • It's a basic course, and since Virginia's teaching is always anatomy-based, you will also find yourself better aligned and balanced.
  • Expect a thorough warmup with a slow vinyasa that focuses on opening tight spots and on relieving the winter "blahs".
