We offer a variety of adult Yoga and fitness programs.  Yoga classes offered:

Gentle Yoga with Samantha
  • Gentle Yoga offers all the benefits of yoga, but slower, with more focus on stretching and breathing. You will develop body awareness, learn basic postures and proper alignment. You will learn a calming and relaxing practice focused on your breath.
  • Recommended for those who are less flexible or who just like to take it more slowly.
  • Bring your own mat and wear loose comfortable clothing.
  • Class meets on Tuesday from 6:30-7:30pm
  • The entire session will be offered in Zoom. Starting July 7 the class will be held in person at the Community Center and with Zoom.

Fundamentals of Yoga
  • Relieve stress and improve overall health and balance by learning the fundamentals of Yoga. Enjoy learning the basics of proper alignment and how to link your movements with your breath. Build a foundation for a personal yoga practice in this class.
  • Participants should be in overall good health since practice can be vigorous
  • Bring your own mat and wear loose comfortable clothes

Yoga
  • Slow Flow Yoga is based on the Vinyasa Yoga style which links movements with breath so you feel both relaxed and energized. Students will work on balance, joint flexibility and building core strength. Although it will improve physical and mental health, this class is not considered therapeutic and is most suitable for those with prior yoga training.

Yoga in the Park
  • Yoga in the Park is a Hatha style yoga class for adults in good health who want the joy of movement outside with a group. Class will focus on fun, flow-style movements, but will also provide some foundational yoga instruction.
  • A moderate yoga challenge that benefits the joints, posture and overall physical and mental health.
  • Bring water, a yoga mat and wear loose comfortable clothing.
  • Class will be cancelled due to inclement weather.
  • Takes place at the Amphitheater at Elm Ridge Park, all the way at the back of the park
