Fundamentals of Yoga
  • Relieve stress and improve overall health and balance by learning the fundamentals of Yoga. Enjoy learning the basics of proper alignment and how to link your movements with your breath. Build a foundation for a personal yoga practice in this class.
  • Participants should be in overall good health since practice can be vigorous
  • Bring a mat and wear loose comfortable clothes

Gentle Yoga
  • In Gentle Yoga you will develop body awareness, learn basic postures and proper alignment. You will cultivate a calming and relaxing practice that is gentle on the body. Recommended for anyone who wishes to strengthen, stretch and increase flexibility while staying in their comfort zone.

Hatha Yoga
  • Hatha is the style of yoga that forms the basis for most other styles. In this class participants will combine physical postures (asanas), controlled breathing techniques (pranayama) and meditation. This is a slower paced practice with static posture holds (no flow) and is suitable for anyone who is new to yoga or would like to deepen their existing practice.
  • Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat
  • Class meets on Monday from 7:00-8:00pm; $50 for 6 classes

Yin Yoga with Sound Healing
  • In Yin Yoga postures are seated and are held for longer periods of time (3-5 minutes). Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis and lower spine. The class is accompanied by the live sounds of pure crystal bowls. The vibrations produced by the sounds of these instruments have been known to help clear blockages in your chakras, which assists in the proper flow of energy. Removing blockages, retuning chakras and bringing the brain to a more meditative state are some of the benefits of hearing these instruments in a live setting.
  • It is advisable to dress comfortably and warmly/in layers and to not eat or eat only minimally for 2 hours before class.
  • Class meets on Wednesday from 5:30-6:30pm; $70 for 6 classes

Yoga
  • Slow Flow Yoga is based on the Vinyasa Yoga style which links movements with breath so you feel both relaxed and energized. Students will work on balance, joint flexibility and building core strength. Although it will improve physical and mental health, this class is not considered therapeutic and is most suitable for those with prior yoga training.
