American Red Cross swim lessons are offered for residents and non residents at the Rocky Hill High School Pool, 50 Chapin Avenue.
Classes offered:
Parent/Child-for ages 6 months to 3 years old
Preschool levels 1-3-for ages 4-5
Learn to Swim (LTS) levels 1-6-for ages 6 and up
NEW CLASS: LTS for ages 13-16-this class is designed for the older student who has never taken lessons before or is a weak swimmer.
Class schedule:
Session 1: Monday-Friday, July 2-13 (no class 7/4)
Session 2: Monday-Friday, July 16-27
Session 3: Monday-Friday, July 30-August 10
Night session: Tuesday and Thursday, July 10-August 9

Fees:
Residents $35 plus summer 2018 or year round 2018-19 pool badge.
Non residents $90.
To register: Call the Recreation Office at 860-258-2772 or come to the office. The Recreation Office is located in Town Hall and we are open Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.
Your child must be enrolled in the appropriate level based on age and swimming ability. Please see detailed Red Cross class fact sheets below.
After the first class, all spectators are kindly asked to sit in the bleachers. After dropping your child off on the pool deck, please go up to the bleachers. Having too many people on the pool deck can be distracting to the children and instructors. We appreciate your cooperation.
Pool entrance: Go up the main steps in front of the school. This will bring you into the school lobby. Pool entrance will be on your left.
Instructors: Amanda, Mack, Kevin, Brian, and Anthony, Red Cross certified Water Safety Instructors
