American Red Cross swim lessons for children are offered at the Rocky Hill High School Pool.
Spring classes offered for residents only:
Preschool levels 1-3-for ages 4-5
Learn to Swim (LTS) levels 1-3-for ages 6 and up
Class schedule:
Saturday, April 21-June 16, no class May 26
9:45-10:25am Preschool 1, LTS 1, LTS 2
10:30-11:10am Preschool 2, LTS 1, LTS 2
11:15-11:55am Preschool 3, LTS 1, LTS 3
Your child must be enrolled in the appropriate level based on age and swimming ability. Please see detailed Red Cross class fact sheets below.
$25 for 8 classes with current 2017-18 pool badge; $40 for 8 classes without current 2017-18 pool badge. Year round badges run 7/1/17-6/30/18.
After the first class, all spectators are kindly asked to sit in the bleachers. After dropping your child off on the pool deck, please go up to the bleachers. Having too many people on the pool deck can be distracting to the children and instructors. We appreciate your cooperation.
Instructors: Stef, Cristina, Brendon, Brian, and Anthony, Red Cross certified Water Safety Instructors. Aides: Luke, David and Anna.
