Camp Sunrise is a summer recreational program for anyone ages 3-21 with physical, intellectual, developmental, and/or other health impairments. Camp Sunrise is sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Departments in the towns of Cromwell, Glastonbury, Newington, Rocky Hill and Wethersfield. 

The Glastonbury Parks and Recreation Department directly organizes and oversees the camp. Camp runs for seven weeks from June 21-August 5. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. The program will meet at Smith Middle School Cafeteria, 216 Addison Road in Glastonbury. You may sign your child up for one week or up to all seven weeks. There will be no camp on Monday, July 4th.

Each group participates in a variety of activity periods each day which include games, sports, art and crafts, and nature walks. A typical camp day consists of several planned activity periods throughout the day including sports, nature, arts and crafts and special events. 

Camper fees:  $149/week for special needs child; $179 for typical siblings

This summer, applications will be accepted ONLINE only. You will need to set up a Glastonbury Parks and Recreation account, if you don't already have one. 50% of payment is due at time of registration. The balance is due by Monday, June 6, 2022.
