Winter Wonderland

Winter Field
Don't miss our annual celebration of winter on Wednesday, December 4 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Community Center.  The event will feature:




  • Horse drawn carriage rides


  • Lighting of the Town Christmas tree  


  • Santa outside in the gazebo


  • Activities provided by the Cora J Belden Library


  • Penguin plunge inflatable slide, race car trailer, photo booth and inflatable snow globe


  • Craft project


  • Project Graduation 2020 committee-selling hot drinks and sweets


  • Lucky Dog food truck-selling hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, fries and apple crisp


  • Write a letter to Santa to put in our special red mail box where they will be mailed to the North Pole





COLORING CONTEST:  Color the drawing and submit to the Recreation Office by December 3.  Winners will be announced at Winter Wonderland on December 4.  

DONATIONS:



  • We are teaming up with Our Companions Animal Rescue and Sanctuary to help dogs and cats.  Donations are needed for the Manchester Program Center, the Sanctuary in Ashford and feral cat colonies.  Donations can be ordered and shipped to them from Amazon. Event will be held indoors and outdoors at the Community Center.
