Fundamentals of Yoga: Relieve stress and improve overall health and balance by learning the fundamentals of Yoga. Enjoy learning the basics of proper alignment and how to link your movements with your breath. Build a foundation for a personal yoga practice in this class. Participants should be in overall good health since practice can be vigorous.
Yoga: Slow Flow Yoga is a Vinyasa Yoga-style class, which links long movements with breath in a way that both relaxes and energizes. Students will work on balance, joint flexibility and building core strength. Although it will improve physical and mental health, this class is not considered therapeutic and is most suitable for those with prior yoga training.
For both classes: Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Bring a mat and water bottle. Class is done barefoot. For residents only.
