The purpose of the WSI Aide course is to provide training for those wishing to assist certified Water Safety Instructors with teaching swim lessons. The training will enable you to understand the role and responsibilities of a swim lesson aide. Once you have successfully completed the course you will be scheduled to assist as a volunteer with summer swim lessons at the indoor pool. You only have to take the course once. Bring a bathing suit and towel to every class.
Prerequisites: Must be age 10 and older, and swim at level 4 or above.
Class takes place at the Rocky Hill High School and will be held in June. Class dates: TBA. Registered students will be notified of class dates once they are determined.
